Ideas for the Plugin

i had a few ideas,

it would be nice to have it like we click a friends name in the list and end on there inworld profile, and maybe even somehow a ajax chat so we could chat with them without a viewer? for example like when we are on phone or so?

The link to profile is quite a good idea and could be implemented in one of the next releases. Respecting the privacy of users, the profile only should be linked if the user has enabled "show in search" in the profile.

The ajax chat is not that easy to implement and I think this is rather a point for the far future...

Since jOpenSim 0.2.3, there is also a new friends module with this feature enabled (see e.g. www.jopensim.com/index.php?option=com_op...8d-8ee4-5b22accfc2b4 ) for my profile.

But still: of course your friends profile should be visible to you anyway. But you just need to find out another users uid to display it in jOpenSim. Imho this should only be possible, if the user is either (a.) your friend and you're logged in or (b.) has enabled the profile to be visible for search.
