Errors when Registering New Accounts

Hi

I am using the jopensim joomla and its wonderful

I have an problem with Jopensimregister plugin

The users can register but - they get errors when finished. Although this doesn't not stop the registration process it seems to prevent to new user from trying to Log in. In fact, the registration data is saved correctly in the Database.

The Errors that show at the top of the registration page are ;

Warning
The mail function has been disabled by an administrator.

Error
An error was encountered while sending the registration email. A message has been sent to the administrator of this site.

Can you please let me know how I stop these errors being generated - I do not want activation emails sent to the user at this stage.

Also I can not find how to set a redirect when the registration is completed correctly

Hi Kazuko,

For sending emails, this message seems to mean that you have not correctly configured the sending of emails in your general Joomla configuration.
So this doesn't seem to be a jOpenSim related issue

For redirection after login, you can do it when creating your link to the login page in the page configuration settings or you can also do it through the login module, also in these configuration settings.
