Changing user account passwords

After a user creates a new account (for both Joomla and Opensim) the password for each is the same. However, if a user changes their password from the Joomla profile page or from another profile editing page (Kunena etc) the change seems to only be reflected for the Joomla log in. The Opensim password remains the same as when it was first created.

Is there anyway to change the Opensim password or possibly change the Opensim and Joomla passwords at the same time?

Also, is it possible to disable an Opensim account? I would like to disallow members from accessing the Opensim grid the same way users can be blocked from Joomla but without having to delete them.

At the moment not yet. But it is planned to add this feature in one of the next versions of the jOpenSimRegister plugin ...

Cheez ... good point ... why I did not think of such a feature before

My plans for the next version is to add a "login level" feature to the component (e.g. for maintenance purposes) where of course some sort of level handling for users will be added. This probably could also be used then for disabling the login for the user as well. I definately will have a look on that! Thanks for pointing me to this

Good to know it's in the works! jOpenSim has really gone a long way towards making OpenSim more manageable and I look forward to its future developments.
