Error Connecting to grid Database

Im having a problem in which jOpenSim is not connecting to the database. Am I doing something wrong?

Is your website on a hosted service external to your opensim server?

Some web hosts do not allow database connections OUT from their service ..

No, I am hosting the website using a vps from vps.net

Need to know more about your setup to diagnose the problem ...

Is the grid and website on the same server?
Is the mysql on the same server as the web server , grid server etc?
Has mysql been configured to allow access from outside the network(it is not by default)?

The Grid and Website is on the same server.

MySQL is on the same server as the web server; everything is running off one server.

How would you go about configuring mySQL to allow access from outside the network?

Nvm Fixed it, The issue was that I indeed needed to allow MySQL Access from outside.
