JopensimRegister Question..

Hi

I noticed that if you have JOpenSimRegister required when a new user creates a Joomla account it gives you a option to choose male or female avatar. But when you setup JOpenSimRegister to be Optional and only allow the user to create a grid account after they verify their email there is no option to choose a male or female avatar. Is that correct or do I have something misconfigured? I have tried it both ways tried various ways for grid account creation and the same thing happens as stated above.. JUst a little confused why I do not get the choice??

This is currently the expected behaviour, sorry. While the OpenSim account creation while creating the Joomla account is part of the plugin jOpenSimRegister, the OpenSim account creation AFTER the Joomla account has been registered (and verified) is part of the component jOpenSim itself. Unfortunately I did not find the time to update that part to the same behaviour yet

As next step I plan to change the plugin, so inworld accounts will be disabled until the joomla account is verified (of course as a configurable value) and then plan to bring this all together into the component itself ... it's just a bit lack of time, that keeps me away from finalizing this.

This odd behavior kinda a pain to work around, because I either have to choose between giving a new user a choice of avatar or opening up the grid to griever behavior. That is one good update to make on the next revision if you get it worked up..
