New Remote Admin in JopenSim

I took the time and implemented a new feature to JopenSim which allows the Creation of Regions from the admin backend.

i thought it was bothering always having to log in to the console or having a external php page for that, what you guys think?

Well after talking to Foto this will become a Standard in JopenSim i am also workin on a Region Restart Module and a lock down and open for Regions

That is Awesome DJ it would allow for admins and moderators to easy create a region without having to access the server console. The only Issue I can see with this is it would require the grid managment to know the information for each instance if the grid runs multiple instances on one server or accross multiple servers. It would be nice if there were a way to pass this information through Robust and just select from a list of OS instances on the server, but I dont think robust has that functionality so

Actually That gives me a bit of an idea. Would it be possible to, instead of listing only one RemoteAdmin option in the global config to allow for the grid admins to create a list of them the same way we create articles or users from the back-end? Then your module for creating regions could be used in conjunction with the list to send the signal to that specific instance. It would allow for multi instance installations or single instance installations since you would only add an entry for each instance of OS you have running

i will have a look at this in the beginning we will support one remote admin instance

That will be a great addition to JOpenSim!
