I\'ll be more than happy to assist you anyhow I can with the work you are doing. I\'ve been wanting an integration for Joomal/Opensim for close to three years. I\'m a long time Joomla fan, and a super fan of opensim as well.

The issues I\'ve had are understandable for new alpha software. And your ideas and goals are commendable. I\'m a Linux desktop user and have been for many years. Far before Linux would install itself.

The sync buttons would do nothing even when I had the databases connected. No users showed up in the users box. I created users via opensim as well as joomla (in other words vice versa) and tried to get the db\'s to sync with no avail even on the grid setup.

I have a couple years of work on the local db for opensim. And continue to work on my small local standalone. It will eventually be hooked up to the web with Hypergrid enabled. But it will still remain a standalone installation.

I have installs for both grid and local here and ready. But I work exclusively on linux. So if this is something you are interested in, I would try to assist with you knowing it works on both windows and linux platforms.

I managed today to run my very first standalone (0.7.0.2) and my component worked with it as well. Only thing that has to be: the database (the value for ConnectionString) in Opensim.ini [GridService] and StandaloneCommon.ini [DatabaseService] has to be the same.

Kristen has pointed me to another problem (see her post here ), that might also be the deeper reason for your issue about no users showing up.

Could you please tell me the MySQL version, your grid (or also standalone) is running on? Very helpful would also be the detailed table structure from the tables \"GridUser\" and \"UserAccounts\".

I sent you an e-mail describing the issues and fixed a couple files. It\'s basically php coding errors. But I\'ve fixed two files and sent them back to you. It doesn\'t have anything to do with the php version.. that would be an easy to diagnose situation. Apache logs are showing coding errors with some undefined variable/properties. I think the collation table thread there is something that needs looked into as well.

Oh well, if it\'s broke, we get to keep both pieces. Not a bad deal.

I also managed to get the gridstatus.php module working in standalone with some coding changes.
