no access to group

So u use now 0.3.1.5 and reverted the ini changes?

"Root element missing" usually indicates some php notice while "display_errors" is switched on during the xmlrpc request.

Is the message gone when u switch off the "display_errors" setting in your php settings?

Ok, as far as I can see u reverted back to 0.3.1.5 ... correct?

I really recommend to install the xmlrpc extension for php and use 0.3.2.0 for even 2 reasons:

1. the xmlrpc extension I used until 0.3.1.5 was from Edd Dumbill last updated 2002. It was/is really good for what jOpenSim needs, but facing security I think it is better to use something that is maintained a little more lately and the built in php extension definately fullfills this demand.

2. the standalone scripts (e.g. inteface.php) are too far away from what will be compatible with the upcoming Joomla4. This is the reason why 0.3.2.0 required a change in the ini files. This might be a little hard, but helps for future not to change too much once when Joomla4 is out (and I get jOpenSim completely compatible to it).

But however:

I think your access issue must be found in your network (192.168.x.x?)

If you look to your Robust database, the regions registered there must have the same IP in column "serverIP" like they send requests to jOpenSim (it tells in interface.log when u enable "access").
